2008 Silverado front strut issue/front pop noise

Hi, I've been hunting down an infamous front end pop when turning slow or going over bumps slow, didn't do it every time but most and didn't start til a month and a half ago, truck only has 44,xxx miles 2wd ls/wt rcsb, never been wrecked to my knowledge I've owned since april and 36,500 miles

 

Lower balljoint had slight play so I replaced those helped slightly, noticed the noise really sounded like the struts so I swapped them out for some cheap quickstruts off ebay in the process of removing the oem struts I seen that the frame had been rubbed by the spring on the strut, went ahead and put it back together, just had it aligned today and frame isn't bent, just thought that was odd and everyone's been fighting those bumping noises, struts 90% cured my issue
