I believe she is singing about how weird it is to have your dad buried in the back yard as a tourist attraction and how there is a spot left for her.

I bet she don't think its is too weird, she has been cashing the checks for 15+ years.  Maybe the lyrics out to be something like:

 

Someone paid 50 bucks to see my dads grave down in memphis.
