Rear high mount cargo light

I just got my 1st Silverado after having all Dodge Rams...It's a 2015 1500 LTZ. When I used to hit the unlock button on the remote for my Ram, the rear high mount cargo light would come on along with the interior lights. On the Silverado, that light only seems to some on it you hit the button on the dash. Am I missing something or is it just the way it is on the Silverados?

I believe it's just that way.. I have the 15 Denali ,however, in this forum there is a mod that allows that function to take place.

There is a way. There's a thread on this bc I have mine set up this way. You'll use a resistor.

Found it. Search "cargo lights on with reverse lights" this mod will cost you about a buck.

The diode mod described above is extremely simple.
