Question for those with XD LED headlights/fogs

I installed today. Do you think drilling a small hole in the dust cover will help with heat?

Also, were the fog bulbs hard to get a good fit into the housing? I had to force the bulb in but it appears to be holding good. Thanks

I wouldn't drill any holes. That will just allow moisture and dust to get in. Fog lights, I had all kinds of trouble getting mine in. I trimmed the o ring and greased it. So far no issues.

After a few days with lights installed, my thoughts. Headlights are better than stock but not much, it is a better color though. With headlights and fog on is much better than stock. Overall I am glad I put them in but not as much as an improvement that I thought it would be.
