Could you just run a pcv line down to the bottom of the truck, and plug the intake holes so you don't have to worry about oil getting back into your intake? (obviously have a pcv valve so you're not taking in dirt

The vacuum of the intake is used to evacuate non and uncondensed gasses from the crankcase. Eliminating the pcv system would make this more difficult to achieve.

I agree, wouldn't advise running a tube straight out. Probably cause a lot of other issues.

 

It needs to be sucked out using the engine's vacuum.
