Magnaflow catback exhaust 2015 5.3l

Does anyone have a magnaflow catback exhaust on there 2015 Silverado 1500 with 5.3l also did u take off the resonator and the 3rd cat. And if anyone has a video that would help out big time. I am looking for something not to loud just deep and throaty sounding

If you are installing a catback it removes the resonator and the flapper.

 

The only catback that retaims the flapper is the GMPP Borla catback.

I have never heard of a catback system that removes the third cat.

thanks for the feedback now since I am going to spend some money which one do think I should get Borla s type or the Magnaflow? Also looking into getting a Volant cold air intake.

I'm looking at the magnaflow 15267 or 17146. Apparently the latter is a little louder, but both are straight through designs. They do remove the flapper and resonator.
