I am looking at purchasing a Salem 24RLS fifth wheel camper made by Forest River.  Does anyone here have any experience with Salem campers or Forest River brand campers?

We bought the camper and pick it up on Monday, they are currently installing the Reesse sliding FW hitch.  We will be using it this Memorial weekend at Wolf's Camping Resort in Knox, PA.

Wolf's is about 20 miles from me!!! I've never camped there, but I've eaten at the "barn" several times. Have fun with your new camper!!!

Thanks Shaners! My in-laws have a permanant site at Wolf's so we decided that we would go there the first time, just incase there were any issues. Where do you usually go with your camper?

I have a permanent site at Plantation Park in Mercer (about 10 miles from home).

It's nice to be "set-up" all the time, and it's close enough to go and grab it for a weekend away.

I tow to Erie, Cooks Forest, Tionesta, Pymatuning, etc...

I towed my '93 Coachman 30 footer to Ohio and had the rig loaded on a ferry and taken out to the "Islands" for a week once. That was really cool. We stayed on Middle Bass Island. That was one Island out from "Put-In-Bay", and there is a person ferry that shuttles between the 2 islands. Nice place, and a fairly easy tug across Ohio. I'll go back again sometime soon... I recommend it... but you need to stay a week to justify the ferry expense.
