Powder Coated Wheels

I have factory 18" wheels on my 2014 Silverado and have been considering getting them powder coated black. A local place quoted me $60 each to do the job. I did a search and didn't see where this had been discussed in any detail previously. Anyone have any experience with this? I want to ensure they will hold up before I spend the cash.

I'd recommend getting them Plasti dipped. Looks identical, but make sure you use a professional and don't spray it on yourself. I've had it to my civics wheels and they looked excellent. And if you don't like it in the future, you can remove it.

I thought about Plasti Dip but I wasn't sure how it would hold up with tire rotations and putting new tires on the rim when needed. I figured it would take the dip off.
