I want to install a Gibson sport cat back exhaust system on my 2015 GMC Sierra 5.3 liter. Do I have to have a tune done after putting the system on?

No, you do not have to have a tune. Now if you were doing other add-ons with it like headers, and a cold air intake I would consider it because you would definitely benefit more. With that being said even a stock vehicle will benefit from a tune.
