According to vehicle spec's the fuel tank in the canyon is 21.5 gallons......first time i filled my truck with gas, with about 1/4 left it took 20 gallons to fill it( i always try to fill all the way up)...... i called the new york state weights and measures bureau to see if the gas station was ripping off the public....2 days later they told me the station was right on with their pumps.....after running tank to almost empty, i have found that it will take over 25 gallons to fill it completely up.....anyone else ever tried this.....

Nope. First click off then done. It is recommended not to overfill. I would not have thought there would be that much a difference though.

Good advice. If you overfill you risk flooding parts of the EVAP system and doing damage
