Looked, but no luck... Assuming it doesn't exist - driver assist h

Father in law just got a 2012 Silverado. He saw my driver assist handle mod on my '15, and would like to add to his. Only problem is, it doesn't appear to exist for pre 2014's. Thought I'd take one last shot and ask here in case my internet search skills are lacking.

 

We're both shorter, and that handle certainly helps when getting in... it's positioned better/more comfortable to use than the steering wheel IMO.

Yeah, that's where I found the part #'s for my 15.

 

That said, upon reading through it again someone in the thread asked about their 13 and it appears the best they could come up with is trying to find one from a right hand drive truck - assuming those have the handle on the left side rather than the right. Perhaps ordering from outside the US.
