Loading Topsoil and Judging Weight

A lot of the loading question has to do with how far and what type of driving you have on the way home. I have loaded up with a ton of gravel and was riding solid on the bump stops. Every bump you hit has to be absorbed by the tires alone, so drive slow.

If your bump stops aren't touching then you can drive a bit more "normally".

As others have stated, you can drive a lot better if the weight is forward in the bed, but that is also more work to load/unload, so use your best judgement.
