Asset tracking GPS...

Recommended Posts

I have 5 trucks and I used to park it in different stations. I have no means to monitor it. So I am getting to do some asset tracking solutions in each of my vehicles. When I researched about it, I found that Eaglei GPS in Toronto is providing this service. I just want to recognize what are the things that I would note before installing an asset tracking GPS? Do you have any other choices to suggest me. Please reply me back as soon as possible.

Pay attention to costs and aside from that you should be good to go. there is always the tried and true LoJack. but it really depends on what you want to spend. Compustar Drone can be used as a Tracker, we install them here in Iowa and I know that they function in Canada as well.

Not sure if the Zubie would work but it also tracks other diagnostics such as driving in general, from how heavy a drivers foot is, to how quickly they brake and things like that. can get T-Harness OBD2 ports for the zubies online and they are a cake walk to install as they just plug into the OBD2 port (T-harness allows it to be ziptied up under the dash out of sight instead of it being in plain view of the driver.

Most important thing is how much are you willing to pay monthly/yearly for the tracking :)

What are the 5 trucks?
