Long story short version:

Found a leak in the AC system and took it to a shop for a quick fix. Supposedly 1 day is fix. The next day had heard nothing so I called. They fixed the leak but found another amd wanted $184 for the first fix and $580 for the second, calling it "an ordeal" to fix. I knew better, so I paid the rip off fee (85 to find the leak I told them where it was, $35 for freon(which costs $15 at Wal Mart), and a $40 charge fee. This was all without consulting me about prices, they just did it.

For $350 all in I am replacing everything but the condenser and compressor. And it took me 3 hours~ to remove everything but the condenser. Then I inspected their fix and noticed they never replaced the orifice tube. I had used them before an they were reasonable, guess they owe some money to someone.

Everything installed, pressure switch was acting up but I cleaned it and it's ok now. Vent temps around 49-51 degrees and its probably not "dialed in" quite yet.

Vent Temps down to 30s, sometimes hovers around low 20s for a while.

I kept adding to my amount until I hit 55-57 psi and vent temps started inching up(90 degrees ambient) Looks like sweet spot is 50-53 in high 80s. Going to tap the low side Schrader for a half second and call it.
