Power steering / Hyrdoboost issue

2008 2500hd 6.0l gas

 

Replaced power steering pump and hyrdoboost unit due to zero steering and brakes. Now I have an intermittent assist problem with both steering and brakes

 

When the truck is first started all is good. Hit the second turn and power steering is out, it sometimes comes back at 50%. Come to a stop, brakes and steering still out. Pump the brake pedal and they both start working again. Pedal feels soft when boost is out. Good and firm when it kicks back in.

 

No air in the reservoir, no pump noise, no leaks. I have done the hyrdoboost bleed procedure about 20 times now. It did seem to help for a couple of turns at first.

 

What do you think? Defective hyrdoboost?

New hydro boost unit did not fix the problem. Time to try and isolate each and see what is going on.
