Just downloaded the newest version of this software.  anyone else using it?

Some files are ok, but beware! Also it is lots better with a fast connection. I used to get ticked off downloading a song and it take 20 mins on a 56k modem and then sound like crap. MP3's are ok but usually inconsistent and require tinkering with your stereo to get them to sound right. I don't know if I would trust them on a high power system. User Beware, download at your own risk.

I use it, but it seems the highest quality I can get from there is 128K.  When I use WinMX, I usually download 320K quality MP3.  There is supposed to be a hack in Morpheus to remove the 128 restriction, but I don't know it.

I use it, glad to hear the new software's out and I'm guessing the server's back up then.  I was forced to use the spyware ridden program kazaa in it's absence.  The program rocks

kazaa isn't spyware anymore   check every ad-aware program you won't find one trace of spyware in it.

I've got it on here, but I can't ever get it to work.  I've tried off and on for over 4 months, and I've given up.  No one around here can get it to work.  I've been wanting to get WinMX, but haven't yet.  Is it as good as I've heard?

I've downloaded a ton of mp3s from winmx and I have never had any problems with it what-so-ever.  All of the songs have been high quality.  Also I rarely ever have problems with losing a download that is in progress.  So download it and give it a try.

I've been using WinMx for a while too.  Work fine, with no poblems.

Been on morpheus for a while.  No real problems until this recent deal... might go try Winmx though....

3 reasons I don't use morpheus.

 

1. I use audiogalaxy

 

2. Sound card doesn't work

 

3. computer's too damn old for mp3 making.

I could never get much wit audiogalaxy either.  I got a couple songs one day, and then it never worked again.  But that was more than I got from morpheus.

 

I think I'll download winmx today or tomorrow after class and give it a try.  Thanks guys.
