Thanks for setting up this board this is great !

 

I just got an 03 Tahoe Special Service Package (Police Package) custom ordered

Looking to do some interior work and lighting.... so as I go I will be buggin' you all here and hopefully posting picks !

what does the Police package have in it? Post some pics!!!

How did you do that? I thought only Law Enforcement Agencies could order vehicles like that, or am I missing something?

Ahh yes the police package are avail to Law Enforcement Agencies & "personnel" only...

 

I will be posting pics very soon.

 

Keep in mind these are basic package no 'toys' really. (no on star/bose stereo)

But it has the 'heavy duty' package suspension/ Larger Air Cleaner/Trans Cooler/ Cool 'Cop' Interior Dome light red/white (red for night)/ Cargo-Barn Doors

5.3 L , 770 Amp Battery all basically the same as the LT/LS. However not pursuit capable

Additional wiring to interior for lighting/radios etc. Fused/Relayed from factory.

Very nice I dont have to fight to do some installs later !

I was able to order /delete options such as full carpeting (not the plastic floors) All cloth seats, Console Delete, and Factory Fog Lamps and adjustable pedals.. ( i know i just think they are cool)

No side molding, Non Tinted Glass.. (but i tinted already how i want)
