2014 GMC Sierra 1500 Denali

Whats up guys and gals,

I am in the market for a new (to me) truck; it just so happens that this will be my first truck! I have my eyes set on a 2014 GMC Sierra 1500 Denali Crew Cab 4wd and I am trying to find some things out for it. The truck I'm looking at has the 6.2L V8.

It has 48k miles on it and looks amazing.

I was killing time looking around on this forum and couldnt really find what I wanted. I think I am going to upgrade the exhaust pretty much first thing; but I dont want a catback system. I want a full exhaust - headers back.

I was looking to see if anyone could point me in the right direction for what I'm looking for. It doesnt seem like there is too much to choose from. And it also doesnt seem like (from what I've seen) any aftermarket exhausts give any significant power boosts.

I dont care about single or dual exhaust; personally i'd rather have it cut out under the bed so nobody can see the 'tip'

either way, i may be joining the GMC family after only owning Mazda's and Toyota's.........

below is the truck i'm looking at!

Again,

What would be a fair price for this bad boy??

Also, I got excited...forgot to introduce myself.

My name is Josh.

I have a Miata with a big turbo. i love to autocross this guy.

I am trading in an FJ Cruiser for this truck. I will be able to tow the miata to events much easier - i need to source a trailer now!

I just recently moved to Hattiesburg MS from Pensacola Fl. Traded down.

I have a goofy 1.5 year old golden retriever.

I like to wrench on my vehicles.

And i dont think this truck will fit in the garage of the house i'm currently renting. so thats a bummer.

@oj

30k seems low.

i've been looking for awhile now and none of these trucks (chevy, gmc, dodge, ford) are going that low unless they are 2WD

granted, i know nothing! lol

Sold for 45k new at the year end clearance event. This one has almost 50k miles and mud tires. Not what most buyers want to see in a used truck.

Well, I think my buzz is officially killed lol.

I think the dealership put the mud tires on; 85% of the trucks on their lot have new mud tires and most have aftermarket wheels also. These tires look brand new. The rest have A/T tires. They maybe only have 2 trucks with normal street tires.

But I messed around on cars.com and the cheapest 2014 sierra 1500 denali i could see was roughly 37k, and had more than 60k miles.

sooooo.... idk.

i really like this truck tho!!

Yea these new trucks aren't cheap, not even when they're used. In my opinion the prices they want for a used one now are crazy.

Pricing is subjective to what region of the US you're looking in. In Texas this would easily fetch $35K +. Texas is all about trucks/SUVs.

I'm in Mississippi and everyone here is all about their trucks too.

Coming from Florida, a badass truck there would blend in below average here. There are so many nice trucks on the road.

I'm thinking this truck is going to be about 37 out the door. I'm looking at a few others but this truck has everything I want + the 6.2
