Lift Problems. New control arms?

I have a 2015 1500 with an 8" mcgaugheys lift. After about 2 months the truck starting creaking really bad when turning the wheel. I think I've pinpointed it to the upper ball joints. Now my question, are there better ball joints I can swap in or do u need to just replace the whole control arm?

 

Any suggestions for the control arms at a reasonable price? Sub $500?. If I can't find any that cheap I'll prolly just get cognito or fabtech. Any help is appreciated

Sorry a little off topic, but why would the balljoints go bad if the kit drops everything within spec? Weird.

I also have a Mcgaughy lift on my 2014 Silverado and recently developed a metallic creaking noise when turning that sounds like it's coming from the left front end. I'm not sure what it is yet exactly
