1994 S-10 4.3L longbed brake issues

i have a 1994 chevy S-10 4.3L auto tranny and i and having a hell of a time with the brakes. when i first start driving the truck, especially on wet, dewy mornings, the brakes are extremely sensitive and lock up upon tapping the brake pedal. i just hit the brakes 5-10 times going down the driveway in the morning then its fine, its only the rear brakes that lock up. front brakes have ABS and i just put brand new pads on them as well. but i took the rear brakes apart and put them together again as everything was fine (drums, pads, hardware, etc...) but i could not find any ABS sensors. i have been told it has a trannsmission ABS being 2WD but i have not checked. it confuses me how it locks up a few times the works like a champ. the truck sat for a year or so before i bought it last spring, it has 65,000 original miles, 5,000 of which ive put on it.

thanks silverlite, when i pulled the brakes apart the cylinders pushed out and retracted with no issues. i might have to adjust the internal cable, i will check that.
