How tall are these? Any change in ride quality versus stock?

No change in ride. They only touch when you have weight in the back or in the trailer. They support the extra trailer weight well. Measurements on them are 5 3/8 inches. And that measurement is what you can expect to be below the factory bump stop bracket.

I never noticed they were there when hitting a bump empty. The time they are the most useful is when putting any weight in/on the back of the truck they seem to help stabilize the truck from the weight and help reduce some sag. They are no air bag but they are awesome for a casual load hauling guy.
