Driver Side Power Seat Do not work

I have a 2012 GMC Denali Crew Cab; it's driver's side power seat works intermittently. With the door open, the driver side power seat operates fine even when sitting in it. However, when you close the door, it is dead.

Any ideas?

  Ha!! So GM Customer service, ive already been talking with someone on your email team and there is nothing they can do. So pretty consistent with everyone else’s experience- you can do NOTHING.. worthless emails. Sure glad i have 4 GM cars on our family cuz now its clear you dont care.. Sad and pathetic.
