Rim Sizes?!?!

What's the biggest rim I can run on a stock 2005 GMC Sierra 1500 4wd. I have 17 inch rims on now but would like to upgrade. Thanks

You can run pretty much any diameter. What gets you is the offset. Negative offset pushes the outside of the wheel away from the hub, positive brings it in. Too far positive and you hit the suspension. Too far negative and you will rub.

 

You also need to consider tire size, the actual tread width of that particular tire, and how the tire will (or will not) bulge on that particular wheel.

Most people that post to it include if it rubs, how bad, and what amount of trimming they needed.

I think 32's are the max tire size for your rig without using a lift kit.
