What needs to be removed? Leveling Kit

Hi All,

New to the forum not new to leveling or lifting trucks. Recently bought a 2013 GMC Sierra 1500 SLE and want to take the rake out of the nose. Ordered the Rough Country 2" Leveling Kit the strut extensions for $50. What is necessary to remove for me to install these blocks? The power steering plugs seem to be a little over pre-cautious or do I need to do this? Also does the bolts need to be removed completely or loosened to drop the suspension enough to install the blocks? I understand this topic has been hammered on a million times but just would like to know. I'll post pictures after the install.

Thanks,

Wil

If its the kit that mounts on the bottom of the strut in between your lower control arm just loosen the 3 bolts that hold the strut in. next remove the sway bar links. I cant remember if I had to pop the ball joint loose to get the blocks in. it was really easy and fast.

Take the two bolt loose at the bottom of the strut. Loosen sway bar bolt. I then will pry between the bottom of the strut and the lca. You can sneak that spacer in that way without removing anything else. Just make sure your hack is under the frame of course. Lining up the bolt holes can get tricky but is definitely possible.
