2006 GMC 2500HD 4x4

My check engine light is on. A friend hooked up his HP Tuner software and did a scan. Below are the codes that were thrown. I've already read the posts about P0300, P0449 and P0455. My question is which side is Bank 2 on for the P00430 code? Is it the drivers side or the passenger side?

 

0x10: P0300 - Random Misfire Detected (Current)

0x10: P0430 - Catalyst System Efficiency Below Threshold (Bank 2) (Pending, Current, History)

0x10: P0449 - Evaporative Emission System Vent Control Circuit Intermittent (Pending, Current)

0x10: P0455 - Evaporative Emission System Leak Detected (gross leak/no flow) (Pending, Current, History)

Bank 2 is passenger side.

Looks like you will be needing new cats.

Will I need both cats or just the one on the passenger side?

I would first suggest testing and/or replacing the O2 downstream sensor (the one after the cat), as it's a lot cheaper than a new cat, and it could be failing.
