97 With Headlight Issue

I have a 97 Chevy C1500/reg. I can not use my regular headlights .

 

If I leave the switch off I keep my DDR's, if I turn the switch to Headlights they go off. no lights at all except parking.

Can anyone help me, do you know if this is a known issue.

Do your highbeams work? If they don't work either, then it is most likely a problem in the switch or a blown fuse.

If you cannot find the problem just turn on your parking lights at night and your drls should remain on

check the fuse, if it blows the fuse again, check for a pinched wire

Yes I have no High Beams no lights Headlights at all when I have the switch turned to headlights.

 

and Yes I currently run my DTR with parking to get lights and I have no High Beams.

All my fuses are fine nothing is popped or broken from what I can tell from the outside.
