2014 Silverado 4x4 possible Issue?

Hello all, First off let me introduce myself. My names Taylor. So i bought my first "New" Truck. Went to the dealer tested everything that needed to be tested when i bought it and ran perfect. I have recently decided out of the blue moon to test the 4x4 again before winter is officially here. Well i turned 4x4 Hi on on dry pavement (Rookie mistake from what iv read). and when i had a right and left turn from a stop it made some kind of squealing noise that sounded like it came from the tires rubbing on something I am unsure of, But sounded like it did. 1 issue that i noticed and was unsure of. Then i put it in reverse with 4x4 Hi still engaged and it moved a little but once i got maybe 6-7ft it wouldn't Reverse anymore. Kind of weary about. I didn't try and push the gas down further and see what had happened. Which is why im curious on all of this. Then afterwards i put it in 4x4 Auto engage. and made some squealing still. im just curious on all this in what i should do meaning take it to the dealer and tell them? or am i doing something wrong? or is that normal for this do be doing all of that?
