2014 Serverado 3500 Lifter Noise

Sadly I am writing this on the Eve of no longer owning a GM product. After 35 years of GM Ownership, I am calling it quits. The final straw was when I bought my 2014 Silverado 3500 LT - brand new in November of 2013. Since the beginning, I have battled dry starts, lifter noise, and misses. I have taken this truck in numerous times and have been told that there are no codes and they can not do anything, I guess there has to be a rod sticking out the side of the engine block before a code will appear. My issue is that the truck has 24,000 miles on it and one month of full warranty left - not that it has done any good. Tomorrow I will take it to the Ford Dealer and take my loss. GM - you use to make the finest products in the world - not anymore. I now own Honda cars and will own a Ford F250. Dear GM Management - You can not understand how sad this is making me. GM please do something about you quality issues before it is too late.
