2016 Sierra Denali 1500 Lane Assist Problem

So I brought my truck into my dealership this afternoon for scheduled maintenance, 3400 miles, oil change, tire roatation and they apparently fixed a recall.

On my way home I noticed my lane departure feature, though turned on according to the toggle switch, was not working at all, neither was the vehicle sensor feature which lets me know when I have somebody in front of me.

Of course my dealership is 30 miles away from where I live and it is very inconvenient for me to get out there which also results in me having to leave work early.

Anyone else have this problem?

Now that it's dark I just went for a spin, my intellibeam is also not working so clearly whatever they did at the dealership messed up the camera(s) in the front of my truck, awesome!

Great mine goes in Monday have same year and truck for a recall with air bag and safety belt tensioner. Told me a computer flash update which is what they must of did to yours and messed it up.

My only thought is they updated the software as if they were working on a SLE/SLT model, therefore disabling my Denali options.

Spoke to the service manager today and he seems to think the module that controls all of those features failed and is trying to tell me it's just a coincidence that it happened when they did the work to my truck.......

Here is the deal man. They screwed up the update and burned out the module. If they admit to being negligent then obviously GM will not reimburse them for the parts and labor to fix their mess up. Just play along and they will get it fixed even though we all know what they did, well except for GM. All those little electrons have to play real nice together in there man and if ole billy the shade tree mechanic that just got "that thar" mechanic job at your dealership (boy dont read too good) hits the wrong button or unplugs the cord etc when not supposed to then the electrons get ANGRY!!!

Well got it done today and everything seems to be just fine. Paperwork said check and updated program and everything is ok at this time? They were done in like 20 minutes so I hope they actually did something. Makes me wonder if they just checked the vin number to see if my truck needed it and quickly sent it back out the door but from my understanding they all needed a computer flash to fix problem.

I also had them change my oil and rotate my tires while I was there and it took them over an hour.

My truck is back at the dealership I dropped it off today after work. Also showed the service manager where the guy that took my tires off scratched my rim. You'd think they'd be a little more careful when they are working on a $62k truck, I guess not though. Honestly I'd like to think they'd treat every vehicle they work on like it was their own. The scratch is inside the lug nut well but still it wasn't there when I brought it there....
