Will 16" wheels fit '16 2500HD

Hey all,

 

So I have a set of snow/Ice tire's that I used to run on my spare set of wheels for my 2007 2500 HD. I'm pretty sure the bolt pattern is different from the '16 models (correct me if I'm wrong) but do they even make a 16" rim the fit the '16 2500 HD model trucks? Or are the brakes and such too large such that a 16" wheel would not have sufficient clearance? Ideally I'd just buy a cheap set of 16" and transfer the tire's.

 

Thoughts?

17" is the smallest you can go on 2011+up HD trucks. Those brakes are huge. Bolt pattern is 8x180mm. I'd check around for a nice set of takeoff 17" steels or something like that and sell your other set wheels and tires complete.

17" is the smallest you can go on 2011+up HD trucks. Those brakes are huge. Bolt pattern is 8x180mm. I'd check around for a nice set of takeoff 17" steels or something like that and sell your other set wheels and tires complete.

I appreciate the advice, but living in Atlanta, GA I'm just not sure I can justify the raking over the coals I would receive selling mine used and buying all new kit. That's why I wanted to make the 16" tire's work.

Have you found a set of 16" rims that will fit on an '11 or newer? (10 and older have a different bolt pattern)
