2500 Sierra All Terrain vs Denali

I am looking at the 2017 Sierra 2500, probably go diesel even though don't really need the extra pull, i just really like the truck. Drove a basic WT the other day and loved it and I have wanted an HD truck for several years and have decided to pull the trigger. If anyone has info or experience with the 2017 models that's great but I know there are not many 2017s out yet so i was curious if anyone has comparisons of the 2016s. I know there is a suspension/ride difference in the 1500s because of the magnetic ride on the Denali but that is not relevant on the 2500s. My question is 2 part; one, personal experience with the 2500 Denali vs the all-terrain on current or previous models, and two, thoughts on the 2500 in diesel for a mix of city and interstate, 100-300 mile one direction weekly trips with a mix of city driving once i am there all unloaded. Just to be clear I am referring to the All-Terrain package and not the All-Terrain X.

Thank you in advance for your assistance,

They are mechanically the same. The only options you can't get on the you can't get on the AT are the larger DIC and HID headlights. Resale will be better on the Denali.

For your use case the diesel will do just fine.
