Removal of receiver hooks in bumper.

Trying to install a bull bar on my truck and of course the bolts too the tow hooks are too long to remove without removal of the bumper. Do I have any options? Does the bumper need to be removed?

I think the right way is to remove the whole bumper, but you can get it off by unbolting a bunch of bolts, getting a pry bar in and pulling it out -

That video will work only for the 14-15 trucks.

The 16-17 trucks have the same kind of problem, but the bumper bracket in the way is different now and that trick will not work now on the 16-17 model Silverado. You need to cut the bolt head off with a sawzal, then reinstall the new bolt from the other direction. Not to bad, there is plenty of room in there to get the sawzal with a long metal cutting blade.

I have the 2014. The brackets I've seen the bolt head is on the wrong side of the brackets and I can not see where to pry that bolt out. Plus when I install that bolt again on a new bracket the bar I would need to pry again.
