Buyers beware in British Columbia, Canada

If your truck needs repair from an engineer and you live in B.C. you may get this excuse.

Wow wow wow, just got off the phone with the ambassedor assigned to me from GM Canada, have been trying to get an engineer to fix the vibration in my 2015 2500hd for just over a year now, they know what it is just need the engineer to come fix it. After months of waiting they finally got a hold of him and he told them that because it is winter and here in British Columbia we have winter tire restrictions(meaning you must have winter tires from Oct 1st to April 1st) he cannot come here till spring.

He lives here in Canada where I beleive all the provinces get a fair amount of snow.

I almost pissed my pants when the ambassedor told me this excuse.

Had I known this was the case I never would have bought a Brand New GMC truck

Hopefully when spring comes he doesn't leave too late to come here because it gets dark after 6 in the spring!!

That's crazy. Maybe call a technician next time...they always have to fix what engineers mess up..??

azsheepdog, wish I could, it started with the techs, but because its a warranty issue for some reason they can't do anything until the engineer looks at it and gives his 2 cents.

Sounds like a BS excuse. Are they saying the "engineer" is driving out from Oshawa? (SMH) And yes we do get snow here (lived in the city for 49 years).

yes its total BS, he is coming from Alberta, which the last time I checked they get snow as well, but the worst excuse for them, here in BC we have tire restrictions but they have to have the snow flake or the M+S on them, unless he is running straight summers with neither he is full of crap!
