Which hood for 03 Silverado

Looking to get a new hood for the 03. Right now its down to 2 hoods. The first on is a Cowl/ram air hood, the second one is a cowl. Lets see what you like.

I lean toward function more than style (year, right... look at my billet grille and roof lights) but I'd install the bottom one and get a cowl induction for it. You might go to the Truckin' website (from the tv show) and look at their reviewed products. They showed off a cowl induction that was activated by vacuum. It used a rocker flap that was one of the coolest things that I have seen in a long time. The flap installed about a foot from the cowl/windshield area and would work great with the lower hood design.

The bottom one! The lines are cleaner and the only good the ram air on the top one would do is if you installed a functional ram air intake- which you may want to do! I just like the cowl better w/ no ram air-looks cleaner!

Black, Gunmetal, dark Blue go with the ram air. Any other colors go with the cowl induction

I like'm both. That's a tuff choice to make...

 

Just wondering whom is makin them or if they got a site???
