35 inch tires

Recommended Posts

I have a 13 Silverado with a 3 inch dealer installed (so called) lift kit.

It looks to me like a levelling kit. Anyway can anyone tell me if I can put 35's

On it with no implications?

I didn't put bigger tires on my 2011 when I had it but my cousin has a 2013 Sierra with a 2.5" leveling kit with 275/65/r20 Trail Grapplers (34.3" tall according to Nitto's website). He didn't do any trimming and only has issues when he turns at full-lock. I suspect that a true 35" will require some trimming, but it should fit.

if you want to have full clearance with a legit 35 depending on the width factor too. Typically they're 12.5" wide... With that size in mind a Chevy Truck will have clearance issues with anything less than a 4" suspension lift and at least a 2"body lift.. Again the offset has a lot to do with it as well... I personally run the 35x12.5r20s on mine and its close but clear with a 6" full suspension lift
