5.3 to ly6 swap?

Can I swap a ly6 engine into a 2000 silverado 1500 with a 5.3?

 

I thought I was getting an lq4..... I have all the accessories and the wiring harness.

 

How difficult is this swap going to be? I think I can take this engine back to the wrecking yard but if it's possible, I'd rather use it for the swap.

Different motor mounts. Full harness and computer needed. Standalone TCM needed. A new gauge system such as Racepak needed, new flex plate needed.

I thought they said it was from a 07 and I forgot to check.

 

Can anyone recommend somewhere to buy used engines? Good online store?

 

I'm in washington state and haven't been able to find a 6.0 with under 150k miles on it.

 

My budget for the engine is $2300, hopefully I can find one for less than that.

The ly6 is a gen 4 motor. Could have been from the new body 07
