Rear Brake, Silverado

I have a 2000 Silverado and among all the brake issues that I've had, the latest is the rear sliders stick after sitting for a while. The result is a serious "clunk" when I start off in the morning, or when I go home from work, any similar problems or solutions?

I've already gone through the 1 brake pad wearing more than the other 3 and replacement of the E-brake assembly, what exactly is up with this new design?? I think it stinks! :jester:

Clunk is usually caliper slides sticking. Pull the calipers, clean and regrease the pins. THere are also orings inside the caliper that should be cleaned and lubed. I use Mobil 1 synthetic chassis lube (red).
