AC blower turns off when turned up to 5

The little motor that closes/opens the door to regulate the temperature crapped and I changed it out, but the new motor still doesn't work, sent it back and the replacement didn't work either. I've rigged it to not open and only let the cold AC come through, but when I crank it up to 5, the blower turns off
