2017 2500 hd gas backup camera

are all gm cameras the same just with different plugs? i would like to add a camera to my camper when i take the tailgate off. you can find genuine omc cameras reasonable for other vehicles. would just have to change plug , maybe, if theyre all the same? what do you guys think? thanks

I just bought an aftermarket camera for my 2015 2500hd from Amazon for $90. Going to install it on my camper.
