Electric issue with my gmc sierra

Hi guys i have 2012 gmc sierra 1500 5.3 and i have a electric problem with car causes the engine shut off with all the lights and the steering wheel and brakes become very heavy when i drive the car ! It's very dangerous! So i need help guys I don't know whats the problem with the car this problem comes without any warning

Have you had the battery tested? Have you checked the terminal connections on the battery and cleaned them to ensure good contact?

Any recent work done on it?

If it was running fine before and just started doing this start simple. Check battery as mentioned, check all grounds, fuses, etc. a process of elimination. PITA.

One ground is common to all, the BCM ground. I believe on the 2012 it's on the firewall.
