Steering wheel radio control

Any one know if it's possible to add steering wheel radio controls? Or reprogram the phsycal seek buttons to cycle through presets? 2017 Sierra 1500 elevation

I don't know about the 2017 but on the 2015 on the left side of the steering wheel there are two buttons on the back side that will cycle through the presets.

Thats the problem on mine, no buttons. I basically bought the truck on the web and went and picked it up. Didn't even occur to me that it wouldn't have this basic feature. My 03 has this so just thought it would be standard.

I asked about having the steering wheel controls added to my 2016 with the 7" IOB and was told it was not possible with that radio. The service advisor said in order to have the controls I would need to change the steering wheel, change the radio, add a harness, change a computer and have it programmed. Crazy thing is he also said that even after doing all of this he could not guarantee it would work!
