Help- Where are hitch ratings printed on Factory Hitch 2005 Silverado

Hi.

 

I have a 2005 Silverado Short Bed Crew.

 

I am renting a trailer and they said I need to have the hitch ratings stamped or printed on the hitch. I have a factory hitch with HD trailering Z82 package.

 

Is the hitch class/tongue weight/tow weight printed somewhere on it...I can't find it but I did put some paint over the hitch-- dont want to strip it all off

 

Finally, is it possible that the factory tubular hitch is only 5000 lbs despite the 7000-8000 pound rating for tow capacity?

Since you painted over the label just show the U haul numb skulls the owners manual.

By searching Google Images I found out there was a sticker above the electrical plug. That is long gone do to rust. So it never was covered by paint I was cautious enough to remove the 5000 pound rating that was printed on the aftermarket Westin bumper for the hitch balls that go into the bumper. That I found under zealous location and all is good
