Max Trailer suspension vs Non Max Trailer suspension

Totally disagree with the towing mirrors. I swapped mine for the regular DL3 mirrors and am way happier. The tow mirrors look goofy on a 1500 and belong on a 2500 or above

I winced when I read your comment knowing it may receive negative reaction on this forum! I understand your point of view especially if you do not tow regularly. 1/2 ton trucks at one time came from the factory with small car-type mirrors on the driver's side. "Big rig" style mirrors were a popular aftermarket option in the mid 60's! Bigger was better until you got too close to a post or a bus! The factory standard mirrors on our trucks are excellent for normal driving. They don't stick out too far or block forward vision. I personally like the tow mirror option but not enough to change out my factory mirrors! (On the other hand, I don't believe I would change back to standard mirrors if my truck came with tow mirrors!)
