Rear end swap

I have a 07 Avalanche ltz. The rear end is shit. It's a 373 gear ratio. I found a 02 Avalanche rear end with the same gear ratio. My main concern if it would actually bolt right in. I do the want to waste my time and money if it doesn't fit. Please can someone help?

I believe there were minor changes at the least . The 07 is a GMT 900 platform and the 02 is a GMT 800. I would be very surprised if it's a easy swap.

Hey, I have a 2004 Chevrolet avalanche 2wd. I néed to replace the rear end, but I am not sure what Chevrolet trucks are interchangeable with mine. It is 3.73 gear ratio.anyone have an suggestions?
