Swap 1500 to 2500 Silverado/ gmc

I have a 1500 Serria and want to beef it up to a 2500, will the rear end etc match? Or should I get bigger gears? The reason is I want to pull 6000lb + camping trailer

The cost of buying a different truck will be much smaller than the price to convert

I sure can't see how buying a new truck would be cheaper, the used ones I would choose all have over 150000 miles and want $20,000 +. The truck I want will not be an intown driving vehicle.
