Any Cp4 issues? Debaiting on deleting...

Anyone on here experience cp4 failure yet? I have not and it appears it's rather rare in my state. I'm guessing due to high quality diesel fuel. Although I am now paranoid. I did some digging and the high pressure fuel system isn't covered in our 100k powertrain.

 

So with that being said, I'm debating on deleting, and doing a cp3 conversion. Or I could purchase another 3 year 36k bumper to bumper warranty after my bumper to bumper is up. Unsure of what I should do.

 

What's your input? If I delete I plan on running a small tune. Efi live tuned by a local trusted diesel tech. Probably a 60hp tow or 100hp street tune.

 

I just want longevity and reliability. Plus it would be nice to gain some mpg and some sound.

 

What would u guys do?

 

And if the answer is a delete, cp3 and tune, what power level and supporting mods would you do?

No, but it has me worried. I need to get at least 2-3 more years out of my 2012 before it's paid off. You'll find more CP4 discussion going on over at duramaxforum.com though, lots and lots of discussion there.
