I have a 2004 Silverado K1500 stepside regular cab WT and would like to know how common they are for that year. I believe it was one of the last years the stepside bed was available, with their production ending a year later.

The truck only has 138,720 miles and it will go up as it is my daily driver.

These trucks were mass produced. GM has made many millions of them. Regular cabs started to become a thing of the past around early 90s. Stepside fell out of favor early 00's. I would say not common because the configuration is not desirable but not rare as far as collectible in any way, Just drive it. Don't expect someone to give you a penny more than a typical trucks value because you feel your truck is rare. These trucks need about another 20-25 years before people start collecting them as relics.

I sure wish I had my common 74 barracuda about now. Same with my 383 road runner, 66 442 etc. just about anything that is around 20 plus years is collectable. Oh yea my 73 RX3, haven't seen one of those in 30 years, my first car.
