HELP 6L stumbles at low RPM

The truck started acting up Friday a stoplights then last night on the way home it did it at 55mph on the highway with the cruise control on. It didn’t make the tachometer jump but there was a noticeable loss of power until I or the cruise kicked the accelerator down.

Then it accelerated smoothly and felt fine. Truck specs are ... 6L, Auto, 2500, 4x4, SC, with 60,000 miles.

Idle air controll motor/valve

Bad about getting carboned up. Try cleaning it. It is on the Drivers side of the TB toward the front.

Did you recently fill up the gas tank? Seems kinda funny it would start stumbling that quick. Lots of fuel out there contaminated with water and who knows what else.

My 4.8 does the same thing. Where about is that filter. I looked and didnt see any obvious filter. I see two wire connections on the throttle body but not filter. how close to the front is it? I would image that t is the same on the 4.8 as it is on the 6.0 right?

Fuel filter is located along the inside driver side frame rail. IAC is only effective at idle. Sounds like fuel filter, fuel pump. Maybe clogged EGR valve.

G-Rott-How long since last fuel filter change?

Two wire connectore on TB would be TPS (Throttle Position Sensor) and IAC (Idle Air Control)

I'll do the fule filter first and check the TB for build up. Some one else recomended a product called "Seafoam" in a seafoam blue can, anyone else use the stuff?

Anything I should watch out for while cleaning the TB and Sensors?
