Power mirror conversion

traded in my 03 CC 8.1 for the same except with a duramax this weekend. My old 03 had power camper mirrors, the new 03 had power folding mirrors, so part of the deal with the dealer was that I could swap the the mirrors. Now the folding mirrors I installed on the old 03 work fine, but the camper mirrors I installed on the new 03 dont funtion correctly. Mirror adjustment works fine, turn signals work fine and thats it. Just wondering if anyone out there has done this swap or if I need a computer reprogram etc.

I found the answer to my own question today. I took my truck to the dealer I use for service on all my vehicles today, and the shop foreman reprogrammed truck with a Tech 2 and now they work great. Took about 20 minutes to figure out which programs to download and install and he didnt even charge me

Glad you got it worked out. I just went the opposite direction, new truck with the camper mirrors after 3 years with the small power units. Is it me or do the camper mirrors seem like carnival fun house mirrors? I've thought I was about to wreck only to find I had plent of room maybe 2-3 times as much while changing lanes. Only 300 miles on them but I'm still uncomfortable and have to triple check.
