I love them. Go on a four hour trip in which the freeway's expansion joints pogo the heck out of your back end, and you'll swear by them. Basically, they remove the hard edge of the pogo effect from your ride.

 

Going by what they do for me, I wouldn't have a truck without them.

 

EDIT: Just checked the eBay link... I agree, I think the price is high. I paid under $200 for mine new, maybe as low as $150. I can't quite remember. Search around on the internet for new prices.

 

Also, that guy is showing pictures of NEW Velvet Ride shackles, not photos of his.

Has anyone bought the Lord Velvet Ride Shackles for their 03 Silverado? I bought the ones that they said were for 00 to 02 and installed them but the hinge bolt heads seem to be bumping into the shackle frame bracket.... :P Haven't talked to them yet...

Hmmmm....With the lighter bed (Protec), my truck pogos like you would not believe.

 

Do these affect the load capacity at all?

 

Because if these things work that well, I will have to get a set pretty soon.
